Where to start about this company. First things first. If you need ANY landscaping this is the company to call. We started talking to Mike on Thumbtack. He came out and gave us a quote. Just like the other companies we contacted. The reason this company won me over was just simply the amount of communication.

I paid half of the bill up front to lock them in and that's when the Deer Park fires started. I have lots of cable and utility lines running under my lawn. So they had to wait for the surveyor to come out and mark where everything was. No big deal. But due to the air pollution from the Deer Park fires the company that does the surveys was not running any crews till the air cleared up.

I got worried and got my phone, the very moment I grabbed my phone, Mike found out that they were not running any crews and could not make it to my house that day. He had already sent me a message letting me know with the attached email that they sent him. Me being me, I called and did some looking into the how genuine this was due to I had already paid him half the bill.

I apologize now Mike, you were being straight and honest with me. It was completely out of his hands. So I waited and then another text came from Mike informing me that the survey crew would be at my house soon. Spot on he was. Very nice representative told me who he was and what he was doing and got right to work. Shortly after that he sent me another message confirming an opening in my schedule for his crew to come out and do the work.

he day of work: Mike's crew shows up and lets me know who they are and what they will be doing and reviewed everything with me. They then got right to work. These guys did not take a break, they did not play around, IT WAS RAINING and yet they still went on like it was no big deal. I knew right at that moment I made a awesome choice by going with them. Hard to find people with that kind of work ethic now days. I will be using them again and I will be spreading the word about the quality of this company. Good show Mike.

Mike and his team were great to work with. He cane out and met with me to discuss the work and take measurements. I got an estimate within a day or so and he made some adjustments based on some options that I wanted to specify.

In the end I had an irrigation system installed with a smart controller, the front yard was re-sodded including fresh soil, and I had a segment of fence replaced. These 3 jobs were done in that order by 3 separate teams with Mike checking in and coordinating frequently.

Sometimes projects can linger unfinished or the final details get skimped but that was never an issue here. Happy to have the work done and the quality was great.

I worked with Mike, Charlie, and Jose in completing a slide gate project for our house - replacing a broken 18 year old swing gate. Mike and Charlie were extremely responsive, and they work very hard to ensure that the customer was happy with the end product. All phases, from sales and design, to installation are extremely professional.

Most of all Mike worked the numbers very hard to get within our budget. I have a feeling that some of our lower bids would not have delivered the quality that MD Fence produced, given that their estimates were not as detailed as MD Fence's and their responses were beyond delayed.

We took 3 bids on our project to install a sliding driveway gate, and pedestrian gate at our property and ultimately selected MD Fence because of their responsiveness. We had some initial difficulties with the pedestrian gate latching properly and MD Fence came out several times to work on the problem. Eventually, nearly a year after installation, they determined that a post needed to be relocated and one added, as well as to reinforce the strike plate. They did all this at no additional charge. It is rather difficult to have a fence replaced when multiple sides are shared with a neighbor; everyone has to be happy with their respective ownership.. well Mike did just that. Mike gave us a couple of different quotes with different types of options which we really liked. The work was done fast and accurate.
